The ants are doing very well with lots of eggs, although in the originally 3-queen colony, but now 2-queen colony, the dead queen has exploded in mold, so I will be moving them to a new test tube today. The four-queen colony looks like it will have larvae soon, although I don't know if I should hibernate these ants, as the local colony in my neighborhood has gotten less active. I do have everything I need to hibernate them, as I have my parents wine fridge and space in it. I just need to know if I should hibernate them, as it is very dry and hot here and most ant species don't hibernate here, but these ants are also found up north. And if I need to hibernate these ants I need to know when.
