If some of you guys recall, I made a Journal that would be a future journal for my future colonies. Sadly, I also mentioned that I might have to move. My parents say that we might be moving in December. That is why I have some choices to make.

1: release

2: give away

3: I'm never considering this option unless it's the only thing I can do

Anyways I'll get to the point. I'll have to start releasing My colonies soon and I can't help but think that they won't make it, and that makes me very sad. So I have decided that I want to start giving away my colonies to anyone with interest in them, but I want to point out that I don't know If I can or cannot give them away but I'm putting this post up in advance just in case I have any takes.

So basically Think of this post as a way to reserve a colony. I also want you guys to know that I'll probably be giving them away for free, but I don't know about shipping costs

Colonies:

Formica subsericea sp. = 1Q,Queen Beatriz (It was the first name that popped into my head when naming her  :D ) + 20-30 workers?, No eggs / larva / pupa because hibernation is soon.

Notes: This is my most favorite colony and if someone is interested in them, I expect the uttermost care to them because I want them to survive the most.

People who are interested:

Myrmica rubra sp. = 1Q + 11 workers + some small larva

No notes

People who are interested:

Camponotus novaeboracensis = 1Q + 6 workers + some I2 (instar two) larva

Notes: This colony is my prized colony, It took me a while to acquire this species.

People who are interested:

temnothorax curvispinosus = Many Queens? + Many workers? + Some alates? + Pile of a bunch of larva and pupa?

Notes: This colony will be sent in an acorn because it makes it easier to manage them, also because I can't get them out.

People who are interested:

*Please read*

1. I don't have any test tubes so I'll be sending the ants in some small 3D printed nests.

2. I can't ship out of Canada's borders

3. This is my first time shipping ants but I'll make sure the packing quality is good (advice is welcome)

4. If you want any of my colonies, you can comment here or you can DM me on Formiculture

5. If I ever end up giving away the colonies, I'll DM you (if you reserved) to see how we can tackle the shipping and get the ants to you

6. I'll be adding 2 queens to the list soon

Anyways, That's about it. I hope my colonies get a new home  :good2:

Where are you moving?

I MIGHT be moving to somewhere in the Eastern hemisphere, close enough to the equator to get hot. I don't think I should be actively saying right now because of my parents.

Damn i wish i could move to the eastern hemisphere (near equator). You can probably release the queens and the queens with nanitics with decent sucess. As long as the spot you release them is good tho.
