Just to double check, these ants like heat right? Because last year I caught some but they never got past the egg stage, and I assumed that was because of lack of heat. So I recently bought a heat cable and gave it to them. They were going crazy for the heat when I put the heat cable in front of their test tubes and they were digging at the cotton trying to get the heat cable. Once I put the heat cable on top of their test tube then they calmed down.
