I've always wanted to keep army ants but I know they are next to impossible so after looking for an alternative I find leptogenys which to me look incredibly similar to army ants and also have temporary nests while being actually reasonable to keep and I found out they live in my are and I know they aren't army ants or even dorylinae ants but they still look awesome and I'm asking for tips and catching and maybe a bit on care! I'm not in the drier areas of Texas I am more in the marshy southeast just in case the tips differ slightly between those regions!
