Hi ! I am a studying entomologist in Cali and I have a brutal fixation on ants specifically. I’m planning a few trips this summer for queen hunting but for now I’m locked in the east bay and I’m not super motivated to queen hunt around here because I have such a packed work schedule while I’m off of school. Regardless, I am really interested in increasing the amount of biodiversity where I live (not like nature I mean like in my house) so I’ve been making a lot of places for animals recently and I’m looking to fill the spaces. I plan to study ants for my major which will involve a lot of hands on research and I would love to become super familiarized with different genus asap.

TLDR : looking to buy colonies in California, I have space for larger colonies if anyone is looking to rid themselves of as well. Thanks ! :)

Where are you located? I have a few colonies and extra queens of a few species I may to thin out due to space issues. I’m in San Diego.

Hey! I have Lasius neoniger colonies available on my shop (with legal nationwide shipping) if you would be at all interested. You may not get the authentic California Lasius neoniger experience as they will need diapause, but they are a really fun species to keep. Lots of energy!

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

My Ant Shop Here I have PPQ-526 permits to ship ants nationwide
