I'm looking for any species of Formica I don't yet have, so please shoot me a PM if you have something to offer. Both claustral and parasitic species will be accepted.

 

Species I am particularly looking for include:

Formica subpolita

Formica neoclara

Formica neorufibarbis

Formica ravida

Formica oreas

Formica dakotensis

Formica difficilis-group spp.

 

Only taking sales from California, unless the vendor has a permit.

 

Additionally, you could also let me know if you are able to obtain any Formica queens later in the year and I'll probably PM you once the time comes to work something out. Many species are found around the mountainous regions like the Tahoe area as well as low-elevation foothills throughout the state.

I have come across parasitic formica queens in the past. I don't see them often (only when I go out camping in certain forests). If I come across any this year I'll let you know and ship you a few!

Yes please! If you happen to still be interested in Camponotus essigi or other ants I might have for sale/trade by then, I'd be more than happy to exchange some.

Formica season starts right around now and will continue throughout summer. I've updated the post above and will definitely be looking forward to any Formica species I can get. Please let me know if you are able to obtain any and I'd be more than happy to work something out.
