			Honestly I wouldn't be thinking about these things now. They can be living in test tubes for a long time.and just use tubes and tubes.

			GOCAMPONOTUS is correct, that formicarium is way to large for a new colony. I would recommend the Array formicarium either as a bundle here or by itself here for young colonies. What is nice about these is you can plug only one test tube in and fill the other holes with cotton until the colony grows big enough. You can view my L. species journal here to see my L. neoniger in one. If you have the money for a THA outworld, go for it. Otherwise make your own.

			How large is the colony you are obtaining? I would a bit for the colony to reach higher numbers before introducing them to any of the large nests you are getting. A better alternative would be to start with a pretty small formicarium, then expand upon it by connecting it to more nests and outworlds if you have to.
