Has anyone ever raised them to workers? I’ve made a queen accept hosts a long time ago, but she died because I was pretty dumb back then. I have seen claviger and other parasites raised to workers, but I’m curious if murphyi has.

Lasius murphyi is the only common acanthomyops that has not been done yet. The farthest anyone has gotten is eggs to my knowledge.

Lasius Murphyi are extremely common in my neighbourhood, will have to attempt raising them this year.

Good luck! Do you think you could make a journal when your founding them?

If I do, I absolutely will. It would be one of those continuous ones, where multiple colonies will be kept and the journal will be recorded as I get new queens each year.
