I did a thing and they have lasted for a good year with consistent egg laying after diapause and trophallaxis amongst both species C.novaeboracensis and C.pennsylvanicus.f7547358b20caf081596b545214e29e3.jpg

I do have videos of them but I’m not too sure how to post videos on formiculture (if you even can.) I have some videos up on my instagram.

Recently I’ve tried chrom x pennsylvanicus and it’s been working so far.

Both of these colonies exhibit fragile queen care provided by the workers. And both queens are fed equally. The queens themselves even partake in trophallaxis.

Are there any C. novaeboracensis workers, though?
