I managed to catch a Queen Ant that I had never seen before. If anyone has an idea on the species it would help a lot. I believe she is semi claustral but I am no expert (sorry for the bad photos, I need to invest in a macro lens).

Location: Riondel B.C Canada

Date of collection: August 27

Habitat of collection: Forest underbrush

Length: 1 cm

Coloration: Dark reddish-orange head and thorax and a light orange gaster

Probably Manica like what AntsCali said, I'm guessing hunteri or invidia?

Yeah definitely manica. She is semi claustral so be sure to feed her during founding.
