I caught this queen around 6:30 PM in Scituate, Massachusetts. She shed her wings IMMEDIATELY after put her into a tube, and her gaster looks very inflated. She is around 10 mm. I believe this is Lasius, I’m hoping it could be brevicornis, but I think it’s more likely neoniger.

Yes lasius. I think Brevicornis but more likely neoniger.
