 Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?

There are so many fascinating ants right were you live!

I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that are not found in your area.

Keep looking man! maybe you'll find some :D ! The major difference between workers and queens is that queens have bigger gasters. Also look for wing scars on the queen's thorax.

Keep looking man! maybe you'll find some :D ! The major difference between workers and queens is that queens have bigger gasters. Also look for wing scars on the queen's thorax.

Is that even an ant? The face and antenne don't look ant-like to me, especially in the first picture.

It is an ant, probably a Diacamma worker.
