Is everything ok with my Lasius Flavus queen?

1 week ago I caught 3 Lasius Flavus queens. I put 2 in 1 test tube and 1 in another. 2 queens have some eggs and ate syrup when I gave them. The one in another test tube didn't eat when I gave her the same syrup, doesn't have any eggs yet, chews on a cotton swab that separates her from the water and looks a bit different then other two (maybe because she isn't full). Should I just wait and see? If she doesn't lay eggs after 1 week more, can I try put some Lasius niger workers and brood to her or just let her go?

I’ve never really felt the need to have more than one colony of the same species, but that’s just me. I would release the one if she does not lay eggs in a week or so.
