We should really appreciate all the people on this forum and their support towards new ant keepers like myself, and for sharing useful and wonderful information with everybody. I feel like we have gone a little bit to the negative side so I just wanted to boost the positivity.

Thank you! ;)  :D   :)  (y)  :yahoo:

Yes, I am very happy to be here and being able to communicate with like-minded people and learning so much.

This is a great place.

In am an older person, and I grew up during the golden age of forums, so this format is exactly what I need and appreciate (Discord is not my thing).

As for negativity- I have not really noticed? At least not in the amount that I see on animal FB groups?

But I usually try to avoid drama and stay away from negativity.

I just ignore and scroll past, except if it gets out of hand, then I will report to the moderators (no use arguing yourself).

I also am a scientist and tend to read up the scientific literature concerning most things (and my animals), so if random people on FB or the general interwebs call me out on being an "animal abuser" for whatever online reason is in fashion at the moment, I also tend to ignore that. No use arguing with "those" people.

Have not noticed that here, though.

I am thankful that two years ago I joined this Forum. I have met many Ant keepers, and have learned so much more than I have researching.
