Hi, I'm Martin from Switzerland (although everybody call me Jacques). I'm a cartooner in everyday life and I've always been fascinated by ants.
There are so inspirational, from a design point of view and from their organisation and roles. A couple of years ago we gathered with 3 friend and decided on making a video game about ants. So we went out to find a Lasus Niger queen that we could take care of during the production of the game, unfortunately the first attempt was successfully so we reitered the process this year and it seems like the eggs are now a few days away from hatching. Which is great for a beginner like me 
. And this time i'm keen on taking good care of them so I will probably need to seek advice here.
Besides we've been studying ants and their behavior and organisation for the last year for the purpose of our game. I look forward to finding more inspiration on this forum as we are really keen on adding things that a genuine when we design stuff for ants. We already have the honey-pot ants , the legionary ant or the panda ant (though they are rather wasp or velvet ants) featuring in the game for instance
