Is GAN dead? Just a few years ago, I was getting a steady stream of customers through GAN. Now, I can’t even give ants away to anybody. Is it almost impossible to sell ants now without a flashy website? I’m feeling like not even collecting new queens anymore the way things are going.

Yeah I've i started GAN a year and a half ago and I've only sold 4 colonies since then.

I still get a few people a month, but maybe that's just a localized interest in AC. The trend seems to be larger retailers now, which is unfortunate for us local sellers.

Yeah, I quit gan a while ago. Not as many customers there then it used to be

I know that when I asked about GAN to the Florida community, I was told that no known Florida sellers actually use it. When I first started looking at ants last year, it had the same ants for sale that it does now.

I didn't know GAN was anything BUT dead

Maybe I am old but I purchased ants through GAN a couple of months ago. Just keep multiple forums open.

When I first got into ant keeping I tried to use GAN but no one in my area had any.
I thought it was just outdated and Noone maintained the site.
So GAN is still active then?

sadly GAN is pretty dead. one month ago i tried it and to this day have not heard back from the sellers i emailed

GAN has been a Zombie for a very long time.

Ever since that fee got removed AC didn't give a crap about it at all.
