I want to raise Camponotus singularis, can the hose pass if the inner diameter is 8mm and the outer diameter is 10mm?

An inner diameter of 8mm should be fine to use if that is all you have, but it may not be good when your colony gets large and has majors who would need more space to move around.

Yeah I'd say 8mm for a Camponotus sp. colony is too small. For my larger colonies I use 16mm. It doesn't need to be that large but I found it works better.

Also of note is that singularis is a very large camponotus species. The queen would barely even fit into the connector.
