It's only 2.5 mm and it was hopping on my hand.

Where did you find it?


Species I keep:

 

1 Lasius cf. Neoniger 30 workers

1 Camponotus sp. 15 workers

20 Tetramorium SpE 30 workers

1 T. Sessile 200 workers

Haha, that is the most colorful bug I've ever seen. This thing hopped off my mail and onto my hand.

Apparently ants don't like these tiny green leap hoppers. Drt says it's because something they secrete that makes them less delicious.

I hate those things, they have been sucking on my Venus flytraps all summer. I remove them whenever I see them.
