Hi! My name is Luke and this is my ant shop. These are the only ants I am selling right now, but as I continue to grow colonies and find queens, I will be updating this whenever there's a new listing. I started ant-keeping about 2 years ago but recently got really into the hobby and the community.

- Can meet up to do purchase / trades, I live near Redwood City, Bay Area.

- Can send photo of ants being shipped and provide any additional info

- Must live in Cali

- No live guarantee

Tetra immigrans:

1 queen 5-10 workers: $10 + shipping.

Experience level: easy     Setup: test tube     Size: medium     Stinging: not really

I know I don't live in Cali and I'm not interested in buying but you say that Tetramorium don't sting. And they do %1,000.
Sorry I can't help it.

Yep no problem. I was worried a newbie to ant keeping in Cali was going to say " a non stinging ant" and then 1 year later their like "ouch I thought this was a non stinging ant". Anyway good luck with your shop!

Sorry I can't help it.

They do, but not even noticeable, so  did he really have to put that there?

Tetra immigrans sting?

Clearly Florida tetras and and California Tetras have different stingers because when Margate tetras sting. Let’s just say it has the Pogonomyrmex sting.

Really lol? I have been to Florida, and the stings are like nothing.Like in Cali.

You probably have them confused with Soloenopis or something.

Maybe I have some allergic reaction cause when I get bit by RIFAS or tetras my hand literally swells up. Like it creates blisters and puss jewels. Maybe I just stick to non stinging ants.

Tetra immigrans sting?

Just because an ant is capable of stinging doesn't mean it will be able to sting every time. If you're picking up Tetras they probably can't move very much. And also, ants seem more interested in exploring human skin as a surface, not so much as an aggressor, unless they're under attack. And besides, the human skin is quite thick for such small ants, and even if they wanted to sting they would have difficulty penetrating the skin. I only notice the sting if I break into a large colony and am swarmed. It usually happens on the feet and legs where I am not as diligent in brushing them off. It hurts a little, but in terms of bees and wasps etc. their sting is negligible.
