So basically my cat got into my room and knocked over my superworms and there are in my room, not sure if anyone has any experience on escaped superworms, or what will happen if I don't find them, but any help will be greatly appreciated

I have had mealworms, crickets, and fruit flies escape before. Mealworms (and I assume superworms as well) can survive off of seemingly nothing, so it is likely you will find beetles running around in a month or two. They are not a big problem and you don't have to worry about it.

In fact, you can probably use any beetles you find as feeders, but I don’t know how much your ants will like those.

Quick question do you think if my cat were to eat them (she's known for eating random flies) would she be fine? Probably right?

I had this happen before. I just bought 50 super worms and I fed a few of them to my colonies. I left it open over night and when I woke up to feed my ants, they were mostly all gone! (they can crawl up the cup) I managed to collect 30 of them from digging in my thick rug. They borrowed deep into the rug and I had to search through the entire rug to get them out. My mom was not happy.

Don’t sweat it. The worms will probably dehydrate, and your cat will be fine. If they’re safe for ants, they’re safe for cats. Cats are one of the worst invasive species around because they can eat anything.

I had one escape and later found a sickly little beetle under the couch where it must have hid. If they are fat enough they may become beetles. But they won't be healthy.

Bugs are mostly good for cats. Though my cat prefers to eat the crickets. I find this helpful when they escape although I could do without the crunching noise since she chews with her mouth open.

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

I once had black solider fly larvae escape and they were around the house for like 4-5 months. Just check under cloths, rugs, and things they could crawl under. You might find quite a few this way…

There used to be a well-known guy on this forum that LOVED beetles and had them all over in his carpet and even in his bed.
