Keep up the good work!!! Finding a balance is going to be a part of life that never changes because once you start working and have more responsibilities, time management becomes essential.

Look forward to the next update even if it’s a short/more life focused one next time as well. :)

Hello! Sorry it's been a while, quick life update: I'm now just waiting for college decisions and school has been pretty relaxed.

As for the colony, they are still alive, and surprisingly are still around the same numbers as I left them last year! After an extremely rough count, they seem to be around 110 workers, maybe a little more. I really thought they would've shrunk down to double digits, but they seem to be pretty resilient ants.

Also, they have some large larvae! I'm excited for how they will turn out. Here are some pictures-a875e87bf774c22e96e9c5885b024df5.jpg9de2f3a2b1d1f31f9f16963d265831ce.jpgf7f26e5b2a470d8b5f503e2c7e0fb621.jpg

Maybe a median looks a little small for a major when comparing it to a worker.

Yeah it did seem too small for a major. I've been looking at Bleeper's ca02 colony and the majors seem so big compared to my ants (amazing journal, and it made me incredibly jealous loll). I'm trying to feed them more now so hopefully bigger are to come!
