Hi, I'm having an audio visual installation using the sound of ants on May 5th (2pm - 10pm), just one day.

 

I need a colony with the species that stridulates like this below.

 

My plan is to place piezo mics inside of formicarium, get the signal from them, and then it is going to be modulated with Maxmsp, played through the speakers, etc.

I might need to drill a hole on the ceiling lid to get the wires in, but we can discuss this.

 

Since I need to test things out while building circuits and such, I need to borrow it as soon as possible ~ until May 5th.

 

I can pay you for borrowing them. Let me know if you are interested.
