So, I'm writing this today as kind of asking for something... and what I'm trying to say is I'm asking if you guys think that Formiculture should have a section where people can post about their centipedes? I am not a developer, but I did want to create this so that the developers and creators of Formiculture can see this and think about this. If you guys think that Formiculture should or shouldn't have a Centipede Topic kind of like the Bee Topic, then feel free to leave a comment down below! I'm also writing this to see how many people keep Centipedes!

Personally I think centipedes shouldn't have their own Topic because I think that Formiculture is an ant/social insect forum while centipedes are solitary Chilapoda adding centipedes would be slightly confusing to what this forum is about. (Although this is my opinion and I think it is completely fine to post about centipedes in Off Topic )

No. Put it in off-topic journals.

I'd say that it would be useful only for people who own vampire ants, like Stigmatomma pallipes. These species primarily eat centipedes (Geophilus in particular), so raising centipedes as feeders and having a journal about how to keep them would come in handy. As for actual pet exotic centipedes, I'm pretty sure they have their own forum...

I personally think the non-ant insect sections should be limited to other eusocial groups, such as termites, bees and wasps. Other stuff should go in off topic journals

The off-topic sections already provide plenty of space to discuss centipedes and other invertebrates; if you want a dedicated sub-forum for such discussions, check out the Myriapods section of Arachnoboards.

Thanks,
