Update 3-5

This colony is doing great, but they moved into the outworld. The reason why is that their liquid feeder leaked, hydrating the sand, and making it good for digging. I don't really mind them doing this though, and they might even do better in the sand. Plus, I think this species enjoys digging, so I hope they do well. I'm not really gonna try to get them back in the tube, because I am fine with them digging in the sand. They also piled up a lot of sand in the test tube, and I think this is some of the sand they dug up. I'm not sure why they did this, maybe because they are now using it for garbage. The whole colony is moved in now, but when the pics were taken the brood was still in the tube, so I can show you the brood. They have a ton of small larvae and eggs. The queens laid a ton of eggs and there is so much brood now  :D

Update 3-23

I made an attempt to get this colony back in the tube but they are not moving unfortunately. Also, I caught a new colony of the same species with about 50 workers and 3 queens. They have now moved into their test tube and I'll get pictures once possible. I also caught another single queen of the same species, that has laid eggs that I hope are fertile  (y)

Update 4-17

I caught about 20 new queens of this species, so I hope that some are fertile.

Congrats! What do you plan to do with all those queens? I'd have to resist the temptation to combine all of them lol.

My favorite queens/colony’s:
Pheidole Tysoni, Selonopis Molesta, Brachymyrmex Depilis, Tetramorium Immagrians, Prenolepis Imparis, Pheidole Bicirinata

Sorry for the very late reply...but usually only a few of these queens will found together, and since there are so many I tried to group them all together. I've seen a few people get to quite a bit of workers like this, but my colony got down to 2 queens, so I eventually sold them.

I do have another colony at the moment in my terrarium, but haven't seen any activity from them in a week or so, so I think they unfortunately died.
