Looks like it might be a queen, I think I see a little rupture in the wing area. If that's the case, I hope to succeed this time. Been 2 years since I started, maybe over a year since I gave up.

Odontomachus queen. She is semi claustral, so will need an outworld and constant feeding to raise her brood.

Yeah, I already know. I'll sort that out soon. I don't know where my test tubes are tho, can I put some tiny lake in the outworld instead?

For now just fill a bottle cap with water until you find them. I wouldn't try to make a mini lake or anything like that.

Not trying to be rude, but not everyone here is an adult who can just buy test tubes whenever they need them.

A wet cottonball would be better. Many a queen ant have drowned due to open water.
