Hi, I recently got a Crematogaster cerasi queen and I read a caresheet stating that they need an overwintering period before they start to lay eggs. Is this true? If so should I put her in the fridge now?

Yes, i would hibernate her. Crematogaster here in canada almost always need hibernation in order to start laying.

Yes, hibernate Crematogaster queens 10-12 weeks before heating them to lay eggs.
