Yep, and the workers seem to be enjoying it.
is it possible that she might be taking a break from laying eggs?

Well, as far as I know ants don't get skinny when they are trying to hibernate, they get fat in preparation. It looks to me like the workers aren't feeding her enough. I would try feeding them more often if possible and see if they start feeding her.

did you raise them from a single queen or buy them? They may have been boosted in that case.I don't know if this means anything but whenever the workers try to feed her or do anything with her really, she would attack them
no I bought them form Ecan in Januarydid you raise them from a single queen or buy them? They may have been boosted in that case.I don't know if this means anything but whenever the workers try to feed her or do anything with her really, she would attack them
The only thing I could think of is that they might not be her biological children, but I would assume Ecan would say something about it.
