I will post a pic of my ant setup but I need to clean it lol. It’s very messy. I’ll post a pic later today. But post pics of your ant setups pls! I have a spot in my closet for where I do all my ant stuff. I took off the doors and put in my dresser and now it’s where I do all my ant stuff.

I love to see every ones setup and get an idea on how they do their ant stuff. I can post a pic later today after school or on Saturday depending on how much homework they decide to give me today.

Here’s my setup. I use pieces of paper to keep the desert sp in the dark. I have a heating cable all taped onto the desk also. Those 2 middle cubby’s you see have some colony’s in them also. The pringles can you see is what I use for small trash like mealworms bits and q-tips and stuff like that.

My custom "Ant Incubator"

This is wonderful -- I'll probably steal your idea and make a similar thing :)

As a hobby woodworker, I was thinking of an easy scrap wood solution to all these test tubes. This is what I came up with the keep them dark, organized and hidden away. Glad this was helpful to someone.

Likely will expand and make a more advanced version after I work out the kinks of how this Anting stuff works lol

Here is my ant setup

1.  Messor sp (I think they may be wasmanni)

2. The future vivarium-formicarium for my messor colony (The aquarium with soil you see in the first photo)

3. Aphaenogater epirotes (The boring ants, like I call them, they never leave their test tube setup, so I have to place some food next to them in order to eat and they do nothing all day.. )
