So I have a camponotus semitestaceus queen that has gotten a very small gasterCJVz1q.jpgAnd I'm not sure if she's dying or something because camponotus semitestaceus don't hibernate.

Thank You😁

Yep, and the workers seem to be enjoying it.

is it possible that she might be taking a break from laying eggs?

Well, as far as I know ants don't get skinny when they are trying to hibernate, they get fat in preparation. It looks to me like the workers aren't feeding her enough. I would try feeding them more often if possible and see if they start feeding her.

I don't know if this means anything but whenever the workers try to feed her or do anything with her really, she would attack them

did you raise them from a single queen or buy them? They may have been boosted in that case.

The only thing I could think of is that they might not be her biological children, but I would assume Ecan would say something about it.
