Journal on all of my Camponotus colonies/queens.

Heres a older colony I found when splitting wood:

You don’t need to make a thread for every ant you catch. I would put all these colonies in a single journal or post.

Thanks. I'll put ants of the same genus together in the future.

Update: The test tube that the colony lived in was getting really moldy, so I shined a light on them for a couple hours. They responded well and moved to the firebrick nest.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but I also obtained a Camponotus sp. queen that seems to be laying a lot of eggs.

Terrible pics:

Update:
For a second I thought that the ants have escaped(the firebrick nest and the test tube were empty). But then I looked in their outworld, and It seems that they have moved under the THA feeding tray that I left them(lol)

Starting to get ridiculous. While I was browsing around the forum, the ants decided to move back.

Guess I haven’t updated in a while, but because my Formica queen had nanitics, I had to detach the AC out world, and make them live in the out world. I’ll make a feeding video if I feel determined.
