Has anyone used this or similar item to remove scratches from the plastic surface? Did it work flawlessly?

I've not used it, but have heard great things.  Takes a lot of elbow grease, though.

I've used it. Mack at THA recommended it to me. It works well enough but I never used it to take out really deep scratches since I never had the need to do that.

You're not going to get deep scratches out with plastic polish.

We use this at my work for our acrylic displays. It works, but those deeper scratches don't go away - they can't, and this product isn't meant to do that.

You can also try toothpaste or baking soda and water paste, basically the same thing -- very fine abrasive. But as others have mentioned, it's only for very light scratches, more like dullness.

For deeper scratches just use wet 2000-3000 sand paper. Polish off with Meguiar's PlastX from the auto parts store for $7. Novus is overpriced and PlastX is better anyway.
