Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Please use the search bar. Also, following the ID format at the TOP OF THE PAGE makes it easier to identify things, and, for people to search back on past identifications to find what their species is.

I don’t know how we would be able to identify anything with that information (if you can even call it that) and lack of pictures.

Upload the photo to the gallery on mobile, and then go on PC and insert it into your post using the “my media” tab.

Also your imgur link is broken.

Is that really a queen? Looks more like a Camponotus major to me.
