So, I have this huge ant infestation because of a bagle my stupid sister left on the floor . So I have two questions, 1. how do I get rid of them without harming them TOO much? 2. They were breing alates (I'm pretty sure, unless it was a very skinny queen), what does that mean? it is nuptial flight season where I live so, are they having a nuptial flight in my room (eef, that would be bad :sore:).

Been keeping ants since January of 2021

Sounds like good ol' Tapinoma sessile. Remove all food and water sources they can get to in your home. Put out Terro Ant gel baits if you really want to get rid of them.

Fluon.

Well, the thing is, they're wild, so I don't know what to do...I DID put fluon on my table legs which have my ant coonies (just for the safety).

yea I did that, I removed EVERYTHING in fact. Also, bad news is that I see workers with brood, does that mean their moving in? Good news is that I actualy located their nest. They're definitly doing a nuptial flight, So many alates and queens!

Also here's a very trashy quality video of an alate I cought:

just catch as many as possible if you want to keep them but that won't get rid of the infestation because these mate in the nest

No I'm going to release them outside, as I have no use for them, I just wanted to know why they're carrying brood...

great, now I have an ant war in my bedroom (I never knew this could happen right then and there). It's Tapinoma sessile vs. Monomorium pharaonis.

Ok, I'm going to go get my hand vaccum, which used to be for any of my ant escapes (ok the  Monomorium pharaonis made the Tapinoma sessile retreate a bit). Where do I dump the ants?

just one last question, what's a good way to get rid of ants in my house (like without store bought jell and stuff).

I think what AntDrew said is probably your best bet. I see lots of wild ants in my garden and yard, but I rarely see any ants enter inside my house. Even during the summer when Argentines are supposed to be looking for water.

Also, I think spraying vinegar on those already established foraging trails might help get rid of colonies entering that place again.

Nothing works other than ant gel they eat and take back to kill the queens. It’s cheap and easy to use.
