So many of you should know me from antdude's forum and maybe some other forums as well. I used to be an active member of a ton of forums, but now most of them are inactive because it's winter. Furthermore, I don't have as much computer time as I used to. Going to secondary school next year. I think that this forum is great because we don't have to donate to get rid of ads, and because there isn't any favoritism towards kids. Although that last point sounds pretty good for me.

I live in Vancouver (duh), and I have had 5 Lasius queens in my 2 years of ant-keeping, the best results I ever got was when one of my queens raised 2 generations of workers. But then I released them.

I can help a tiny bit with simple ID's down to genus.

Nice to see you here.

As far as I know, you are currently the closest person to me - and I live in Athabasca, Alberta.  So close, yet so far!

Thanks guys for the welcomes.

Crystals: Lol, our class just finished studying lakes and oceans of Canada, and it included Lake Athabasca.

Lake Athabasca and Athabasca are over 800km apart.  ;)

The town of Athabasca is along the Athabasca River.

Haha, I was actually planning to add a much better smiley package but  forgot all about it. Now that you reminded me I think I'll do that now. :)
