Guys I have a question. What is an orthocrema crematogaster? Is it a subgenus?

There are two subgenera for Crematogaster; Orthocrema and Crematogaster. Most species in the US are Crematogaster, but some like C. missouriensis and C. minutissima are from the Orthocrema subgenus.

Update 6/22

The queens first two workers have arrived! With many more to come. She’s got a nice pile of brood, as well as another worker that’s about to eclose. Since the fungus situation, this colony has had no more problems. They’re growing, eating, and are just doing really well overall.

what happened with the callow worker you gave her did it die?

1X Pogonomyrmex occidentalis 40-50 Workers

1X Solenopsis molesta 10 Workers (mono)
