Hey guys, long time,no posts.Ant season started in Greece and I am in a different part of Greece this year because I joined the army(its mandatory in Greece),I still have my test tubes with me though:).Because of that, the pictures are not that great and I don't have a measurment medium in the picture so I have to eye ball the queen.I found this queen in the northern part of greece near Alexandroupoli at the lowest part of a mountain surrounded by forest and grasslands (tons of vegetation).I found her in the morning hours, she is about 3-5 mm and mostly black.I also believe she has a mite on her although its not clear in the pictures(on the upper right part of her gaster)Any ideas on the species?

Could it be carebara oertzeni? It does look kinda like that genus. If so, great find! They are extremely rare.
