Looking for Camponotus species. My location is Indiana. Don't really want to spend more then $35.00 for a queen if possible.

camponotus will be flying late may early june. they fly really far, so just keep looking around, and you might spot them!

I’ve never seen an ant keeper that lives in Indiana besides you so you might have better luck catching them yourself.

Well for the next 4 days it will finally be in the 70s here so ill be out looking for ants ether way.

In my experience, these ants cover the ground in humid, warm nights. If you can, try looking at 9-10pm, there will be dealates everywhere.

Catsandants lives in Indiana. Martialis used to, I think.

For me, in coastal Massachusetts the best dates were around Independence day weekend, so when spring really warms up and gets humid where you live I'd go look at night.
