You should put enemy ants in future levels that will damage you if you hit them. Maybe do something like eciton burchellii soldiers as a special boss battle as well.

I really don't know how you accomplished that with Scratch lol. It is really impressive. The loading screen facts are a very nice touch.

Haha thanks!  A lot of the time the code would just break, a good example is when I added the loading screen since now alot of the sprites had to hide.  The flied AI just broke, clouds didn't work, the playable ant stopped moving, but it all worked out (obviously lol).  Also I got the idea for the facts from Minecraft tbh lmao

Hi, great game! Just 2 glitches: Seems like sometimes the ant can walk in mid air, probably has something to do with hit boxes, and you can't close out of the settings. Pixelart looks great.

Yeah! That could be really cool for you to add in the future. I could never make any type of game on scratch myself tbh.

Thanks, settings is closed via space bar (I'll try to make a different way asap), and the mid air glitch is probably something within it's gravity code, so I'll look into that.  (It's funny because the game about bugs has a bug lol)

Working on the sprite now, I think I'll add a health bar or something, and when you step on the ant lion you have to act quick or something before you loose.  That also means I'll have to make desert themed levels so I'll probably do a Eciton burchellii boss battle before.  If I can I'll add that screen where you choose the level you want.

Usually what I do is place notes randomly until I get a good melody (sometimes I'll find a scale to go by)

Then I make the base by taking notes that stand out from the melody and lengthening them

After that I make another bit that's a bit different

Then a transition into a "cool down" bit

the cool down bit I have the melody (or something else that sounds like it) and I add some nice chords to it with strings or something

then there's a build up, and verse two if I want

I know there's a music theory, but I kinda have my own theory lmao

keep going up after you jump up from the block, when doing that you go a little higher (instead of trying to fix it i just added it into one of the levels).  If that doesn't work try glitching up the side of the wall (up+left arrow until you reach the top block)

Alright I added a health bar

When touching the enemy it goes down every 0.3 seconds

There are 8 stages before death

If you have flies it'll take one and you will gain one health bar

You have to reset the music for some reason, I'll get to fixing that right now, but if you could name some of the bugs that'd be great
