3. Habitat of collection: pinon-juniper biome, suburban sidewalk, 7200 ft. elevation
4. Length (from head to gaster): 7 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: carmel-brown
6. Distinguishing characteristics: ?
7. Anything else distinctive: ?
8. Nest description: N/A

This is a founding queen I have in a test tube setup. This was the best photo I could get, as I don't want to disturb her. I'm a newbie, so I don't have much I can say about distinguishing characteristics!

I'd be very happy if anyone could narrow down her ID to a genus, or a couple of possible genera.
