I would feed the Anochetus springtails or similar tiny insects, like fruit flies.

How do you feed springtails?live feed'?

I would crush it slightly and then place it in her test tube. You can also try placing live springtails in but my queen didn't eat it.

Springtails can’t really defend themselves other then jumping away, so unless it won’t take them live, do what SYUTEO suggested. I had a Ponera queen that accepted a live springtail and she was able to chase it down. Not sure how mobile Anochetus queens are.

Ok so here's a well needed update:

Pheidole:

This colony is currently my fav. Really cute, tiny ants. They seem to like protein more than honey.I have connected there test tube into a outworld with some substrate thts a bit wet. They took a lot of substrate and made a huge wall of substrate on the test tube.Currently has about 10 workers.Still needs to be IDed,Pheidoles are very hard to ID.

Camponotus Sericeus:

They have been really flourishing.Still at 9 workers, but there is a big pile of brood. In a few weeks they will be twice in number.
