My cousin is getting into AUS ants and wanted me to post if I could get a permit to get some Myrmecia. I said that I don’t think this can be possible but I was pressured to ask. So could this happen?

You cannot get a permit for Myrmecia. It is nearly impossible unless you are a zoo.

Ok thanks. You know, I must ask how do you get a permit for any ant? I have never tried.

That's the website where you'll get the information needed.  It is highly unlikely you will get a permit granted to you for exotic insects since you are just a hobbyist.  Australia is also very strict on their wildlife, so almost impossible to get anything out of there legally.

I wouldn't even bother trying. You'd literally need a hand written note from the president.
