I want to get rid of a two queen + eggs tube of Brachymyrmex patagonicus. How much should I sell it for?


Ant Keeping Since June 2018
Currently Keeping:
A. versicolor, C. us-ca02, C. yogi, C. Vicinus, C. laevigatus, C. clarithorax, C. maritimus, C. ocreatus, M. mexicanus, M. placodops 01, V. andrei, V. pergandei, N. cockerelli, P. barbata, P. montanus

Hoping to Catch This season:

M. romanei, M. placodops 02, P. imberbiculus, Polyergus sp., F. moki, A. megomatta, Cyphomyrmex sp.,Temnothorax sp.

how much do you think they are worth? for some people, that would be overpriced, and for some it would be cheap. but if no one buys it(at least if there is someone that wants to buy it. i  have had only one sale in my shop because there is a net of 1 antkeeper in South Dakota that checks formiculture regularly, and even he is checking less and less often) then lower the price.

Brachys are dirt common, I would sell at $2-$5 plus shipping.

They have been listed on my shop for $5 or $2.50 each.

Brachy queens are kinda worth a couple cents more than the tubes they're in

Yeah, I kind of looked at how much the test tube was and added about  $1 per queen.

yes, they are very polygynous in some areas. in others, not so much. you will have to check out your area.

my neighborhood is overflowing with tetras. i can catch like 5-20 queens a day.
