This year I wanted to try stenciling a pumpkin for the first time, and I figured what better subject than an ant? I used some clip art I found online of just a generic ant from the side and gave it my best shot. I'll add a picture of it lit up once it gets dark. Let me know what you guys think!

Ants I have:

1 Formica fusca group- 0 workers

1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers

1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers

 

1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood

There's such a clear "A" on the left, in the legs, that I tried to find "ANT" in it. I can sort of see an "n" in the middle. If you could work a "t" into it somehow that would be really cool  :lol:

Termites: Zootermopsis angusticollis, and a box of drywood termites that can't be seen

Isopods: (most no longer keeping) A. gestroi, granulatum, kluugi, maculatum, vulgare; C. murina; P. hoffmannseggi, P. haasi, P. ornatus; V. parvus, P. pruinosus, T. tomentosa

Spoods: (no longer keeping) Phidippus sp., other

That's a good one! I was thinking Jackymyrmex lanternius.

It clearly has a Camponotus profile, in my opinion.

I agree, I was going purely for punmanship. I don't really have an opinion about what it should be called though, I'm just happy it turned out well  :D
