I'm new to antkeeping, and have a tetramorium immagrans queen as well as a lacius niger queen.  I am definetly going to keep the tetramorium because it is about to have it's first nanitics, but I don't know about the lacius niger queen.  Any advice on lacius keeping?  (I am getting multiple mini hearths from Tar Heel btw, I think that should suffice for the first year?)

Lasius niger will be fine in a Mini Hearth, but will do better in a standard test tube for the first few months.
