Camponotus Vicinus Queen - How long without food.

I captured a Camponotus Vicinus Queen on 4-25 and she has just laid her first eggs. One or two have become pupa. As I approach the 30 day mark. I'm Concerned about about when to feed her. I know she is completely claustral so I don’t need to feed her but I feel like she took a long time to start. Looking for suggestions or advice. Thanks in advance.

If you feel like she needs some food go ahead and do it, just take it out when she's done.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

You really don't need to feed fully claustral queens until you get nanitics, you can give some honey or a fruitfly if you feel it's needed, like Antkid12 said

I would definitely recommend not to feed them, as it could startle the queen and make her eat her eggs.

Sounds like feeding her isn’t a must at this point. What’s the tipping point. Like if she eats all her eggs before they hatch or something like that 1 month / 2 months / 3 months. When is it too far.

Just be patient. If she already has pupae, then she’s well on her way. As soon as they eclose, you should offer her some sugars and bits of protein. In the meantime, don’t disturb the queen and just trust the process.

If it's been 3 months, put in a cricket leg or some honey just to keep her and her larvae fed. It shouldn't stress her out, and camponotus are very tolerant ants.
