Simple Ytong test tube holder

My small evening project today was building a test tube holder for my Lasius niger colonies.
 
I drilled several 16 mm holes into a Ytong offcut.

looks nice, what are you using to pulg the test tubes? looks almost like a certain type of hygiene product.

These are test tube plugs made out of cellulose so they let air through.
