Vancouver Feb2020 Ant ID request

1. Location (on a map) of collection: Vancouver BC Canada
2. Date of collection: 12 Feb 2020
3. Habitat of collection: Indoor. I found this ant wandering on the wall of basement washroom. I might have disturbed their nest eariler on the same day when i vacuum.
4. Length (from head to gaster): 11mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: black to naked eye, but appears to be brown or red in photo
6. Distinguishing characteristics:

8. Nest description: Uncertain, but i suspect it's at a corner of basement washroom

9. Nuptial flight time and date: Uncertain, but I noticed ants with wings in the same washroom for two days. I suspect they are from the same colony.

 

I'm not sure if this is a queen ant. Please help. Thank you.
