(Mis) Adventures in creating a new Formicarium

I am currently working on a stackable formicarium using 2 mdesign containers and a 2 by 2.5 by 6 price of firebrick. The firebrick is going to be glued to the side of the lower container with two separate sets of tubes coming out of the back of it. The tubes will exit the lower container by the way of two holes and enter the upper container which will be the outworld. Will update in 1-2 days. looks interesting. Where did you find AAC/Firebrick? It's rare in America, so I'm always looking out for it

I contacted the guys at http://refwest.com/and they gave me some. You can also get it from pottery supply stores.

Firebrick is quite common actually. AAC is a completely different product that is concrete based. Firebrick is ceramic based.

I have created a front cover and some ports for my formicarium build on tinkercad and will be printing them tomorrow. Magnets will be used to hold them on. If you have any questions or advice please post below.

Are the holes for watering, or are they exit ports?
