Hello all my Ant Keeping friends.
My ants are in diapause so I’ve been researching and shopping haha

I recently came across these jelly cups by Zoomed and wonder since they are for insects, would they be ok for the ants? I have copied the link below and the ingredients and analysis is written for each flavour at the bottom.
Let me know if you’ve tried them and what you think about them either way.

Or maybe you can tell me if you feed protein jelly cups where do you get them from or what brand do you recommend? I’m in Ontario, Canada.

Thanks in advance :)

I've tried them. They seem to work well for Aphaenogaster, Camponotus, Formica and Crematogaster. Haven't tried them on any others though.

Great thank you Ant_Dude2908!
I have Camponotus Pennsylvanicus. I guess worst case they don’t like it and I feed it to the crickets haha

Have you tried any others on the market? If so which ones did you like the best lol I mean your ants like best?

Jellies have so far been very hit and miss with my ants. Sometimes they like them but most of the time they don't. The most successful so far have been the banana taste ones.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

Banana is the one that was most accepted. Next to that was the maple syrup one (I think).

Awesome thanks again to both of you. Seems banana is a favourite. I might try different brands too.
Ugh can’t wait until spring.
