how do you make the little messages under your posts?

i know this is a noob question, but how do you create the little messages under your posts? I'm talking about the ones such as hightlyze's "i eat cars for breakfast everynight" message.

Click the drop down arrow by your name up top and go to "My Settings." Then go to "Signature" put whatever you want and save it. Boom, done.
